In a forward-thinking initiative to enrich urban public spaces, Various Associates has unveiled the AVENUE & SON SKATEPARK NORTH COAST in Qinhuangdao, China. This 612-square-meter facility, opened in 2025, is strategically positioned within Riverain, a dynamic precinct of the Aranya development. Located alongside the cutting-edge UNDEFEATED SPORTS CENTER, the skatepark is designed to be a focal point where athletic pursuits and commercial vibrancy converge. Lead architects Lin Qianyi and Yang Dongzi, supported by a dedicated design team including Hou Jinwang, Huang Yongliang, Zhang Junbiao, Li Min, and Fang Ying, meticulously envisioned this space to cultivate a lively and interconnected community.
